Boy, that's for sure. One thing about my wife - she won't let the cookies get wet. Gotta chuckle about the end of the week in Spokane though. I'm not sure who had the bad JuJu, me or Karen. My week went really well up until that point.
Yup, my underwear size is larger than the cumulative IQ over at the Oakwood site (getting my nomex on now). Good place for a giggle tho. Trouble is, giggling causes me to eat cookies - I'll try to save some, but at this rate I don't have much hope.

I sure hope so, but right now I don't see anyone on the horizon. My job (and previous volunteer burnout) kind of prevents me from being a principal in a deal like that. I will always lend whatever hand I can though. Winter racing is what I got into karting for in the first place. I'm not going to race at Monroe, so I really hope a group steps up and carries the ball for CKA. It's like any other volunteer deal, lots of people don't mind voicing their opinion on how the show should be run, but few are willing to put the time in to make it go. Maybe we just need a real dirtbag, profit oriented promoter to get the show on and keep as much entry money as possible.

well if they want to race bad enough, they will figure something out. if not we will have some time off till someone has acorns enough to step up.
some people just don't know what side the bread is buttered.

Just got an e-mail from Ticketmaster selling Wayne Newton tickets over in Yakima. Should we get a few bags of fig newtons and head over? I think Wayne might go for a rip in a Blue Wazoom powered Legend.

Hey, I heard that Wayne is a cookie eatin' fool. And you could stand a little easy listening music. Where has all that raucous rock n roll gotten you in life?

Yup, Oakwood mentality. Nothing like abusing the K-21's backin' it in with your elbows up eatin' horse crap squintin' to see while your smackin' Wendell into the wall and eatin' his cookies kinda mentality. Yup, that's me.

Rumor has it that there will be a money race for briggs at Slymedog on the 21st. Oh, did I mention that it's for 6.5 Inteks, no other rules? Noisy. Smelly.

So you would have to get one of those overhead valve things and a pair of suspenders? Is there money added if you have your name above your shirt pocket? Oh gosh this is the 2 cycle forum.

oh yeah, darrin,go ahead ,tease the fat kid....poke sticks at me.....see what happens! hehe. now that i finally got a 2 smoke you still give me poop. i have not actully seen the inteks run,but i am sure it won't be long. the flatties will be fading in a short time. we already have not any stockers, the blue was ,and is the best flattie package out there. i have 4 just sitting on a shelf,resting.......waiting....... i can't and won't wait for the class to grow, the 2 jokes are gaining popularity again across the country ,according to bobs 4 cycle activity. so when in rome........... and uhhhhh the suspenders,if i don't stay out of the cookies i will need them

I forgot you probably never saw the intek guys run at Monroe. When the class started the standard uniform was a workshirt with the drivers name and suspenders. As for making fun of fat racers, I live in a glass house. (Have not been able to zip the red suit for a couple of years.) Darrin out

I can see it now - Wendell in a hickory shirt, pants cut off with an axe about 3 inches below the knees, red suspenders, wool socks and a Stihl Chainsaw hat. Add an OHV Briggs and he's there. Geez - this picture just won't leave my mind.
