On a kt 100 I run anywhere from a 10.2 to 11.2 depending on track and tires so start in the middle but sounds like you dont have a Jackshaft you need to run run one at oakwood I also got a couple of dirts i could sell cheap depends on what sizes you need call me we can get most of everything you need Billy Coates 206 601 5387 or I call you after work

It sounds like you need a Jackshaft (Gear reduction between the engine and axle) Also with the gears you said it came with I bet the sprockets and chain are all 219 pitch. I'm not sure how easy it would be to get 219 gears for the Jackshaft. 35 pitch is the common gear type used on dirt. Given your size you may end up in the 11-12:1 range on the gear The 93 and 12 would only be 7.75:1

hey Bradley, not sure if we will be there on the 19th. We started Oakwood for Ryan and he wont be in town that weekend. You never know though...after seeing everyone race down there I knew I had to do it. Billy sorry I didn't get ahold of you, unfortunately I had to have some sinus surgery and it was way worse than I could have imagimed it to be. I spoke with Nick Dunham and I think he is going to set me up. If it doesn't work out Ill call you. Thanks again for the offer. I gotta say that I haven't been this excited to race in aquite a while...everyone I have met has been very supportive and friendly. Thanks everyone!

13? Unless you weigh about 450lbs or more! With my 100cc open (tt-85) last race i am at 11 flat. If your at 13 and aint getting any rpms you better start checking your clutch and flex length or try a different pipe? If i put mine at 13-1 i'd turn it about 20,000. lol. #9

Hey guys sorry havent checked the website in a while.
Pat I call you here in a bit we should be able to set you up
Nick ronnie knows whats he talkin about but the the first thing is double check your math and counting on your gear ratio nut for sure 13.1 is way to high but if your gear ratio is that high then ronnies ideas should take car of it with those wet clutches you need to set the clutch loose but not too loose some of them have a very fine line to where they work right and it only takes one time gettin them to hot and there junk.

Already been down that road. They down want 2 strokes. Actually what they dont want is smoke. They have alot of issues with some of these arenas and smoke is the biggest one. Besides we ran a reedjet once and you cant get em to hook up very well. The 4stroke deal is perfect. See yah saturday!
